I am addicted to frying eggs and putting them on reheated lo-mein for breakfast the next morning, just something about the flavor of the yolk mixed in. Seriously if you like eggs, you have to try it.

what was the other soy sauce that you used besides the dark soy sauce? I used Korean light soy sauce (soup soy sauce) could that be why my color was off and it was too salty?

My mouth is watering. I love Chinese noodles like this. I usually fill half my plate with noodles and get sweet n sour chicken or one of the fish dishes plus some pork or shrimp spring rolls at the Empire Buffet here in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am going to have to try cooking like this myself.

lo mein is so much better than rice!!! it's sad that you can't substitute it for fried rice at restaurants. i've never like the texture of rice.

Hi Tess I cooked this recipe and tofu with broccoli my god it turned out to be far much better and tasty than my usual Chinese take away chow main!!! Learned things or two while making it..e.g keep wok very hot all the way….I wanted to thank you so much for keeping it precise. Would you kindly teach us more Chinese take away style recipe pls? E.g curry sauce, mix veg curry, deep fried tofu with salt and chilli garlic. It will help me tremendously as I just love cooking. Once again thank you so much xx
