Everything looked so yummy! I loved how simple it was. I feel like I get so caught up in meal planning and trying to make overly complicated things. Watching this and the video you made talking about meal planning has really encouraged me to reconsider my meals.I would love to see more videos like this!

Loved those mason jar "smoothie" cups with lids.  Too cute! Our children are all grown, and I sure miss cooking and baking with them.  Enjoy these years because time really does fly.  You have such a sweet family. =D

(Gary's wife here) Lisa, you continue to be a breath of fresh air ! I love your simple approach to life and living !! I often feel overwhelmed with trying to keep up with current food trends, vegan, paleo, carbs, no carbs, juicing vast quantities of greens… I  often buy tons of produce and try to eat healthy but it generally just goes bad in the fridge because it just take TOO MUCH EFFORT to try and create  "pinterest" worthy meals. Thank you so much for  "BORING"  I LOVE IT !!!

Absolutely loved this, and what a great way to start the day.
Also loved that your breakfast meals didn't have to look 'instagram perfect'. Thank you for keeping it real : )

Not boring at all! I feel especially as a busy stay at home working mom that simple, nutritious meals like this are the easiest! We do our pancake breakfast on Sunday and always double the batch so that we can reheat pancakes during the week for my little boy. I’ve never had turkey eggs! I bet they are delicious! Mmm! Thanks for the recipes. I’m excited to try something new!

Love the simplicity. The perfect amount of variety, in my opinion. Lunch is by far our hardest meal of the day for coming up with what to eat. Would love if you did a video on what you do for lunches. Thanks!

I appreciate how realistic you are about meals. The eggs and pancakes don’t have to look perfect. You instead focus on quick ways to feed your family healthy meals!

Hi Lisa. Love, love, love this video. So intrigued by how inventive and talented you are. When you were dishing up the plates, I recalled how you talked about getting those plates. When you were explaining about the meal prep in your kitchen, I remembered the video on how you bought the house and that process. So many wonderful videos and life lessons that you've given! Thank you for your time and topics. YOU ARE NEVER BORING! Do kinda miss seeing the baby in his wrap, though! ;(). Blessings and love!

    This is great!
After 25 years and 7 kids I have found that to many choices cause problems. Keeping it simple helps kids learn to love their food. Instead of always wanting something else. Clean and simple! Love it!

What is the greens powder you mention? Why do you use that versus actual greens? Do you have a particular brand you use? If so, why? Just curious 🙂 Definitely gonna try that oats bake. We are getting bored with our regular breakfast recently (we rotate a lot of cereal, eggs, toad in a hole, hot rice or oats, and sourdough pancakes/freezer waffles). Well, I'm getting bored, I think hubby's fine lol.

Not as boring as my breakfasts. We always have fruit and yoghurt followed by toast or oatcakes but I can prep it in my sleep which is important on a busy morning!
